A Tall Order

Mel Gibson , Sly Stallone , Steven Tyler is ,Axl Rose ,Robert De Nero ,Al Pacino and Tom Cruise are all attractive, successful, men they are also all under 6ft tall.

According to my own research and experience women are now missing the opportunity to meet attractive men as they are weeding out any men who are vertically challenged. Over 90% of my ladies now specify their partner must be over 6ft. This is interesting to me as around 40 % of these women are less than 5ft 5. Now yes I can see that if you are a tall woman and you wear heels you don’t want to look odd next to your partner but really who is going to wear 5 inch heels ladies please, please stop narrowing your search criteria to the extent that your ideal partner does not exist.

Tall men will always be attractive, going back through time cave women were looking for hunter gatherers, and tall men seem more powerful, more masculine and more competent.
There is a special comforting feeling about being held in some-ones arms and looking up into their eyes, feeling warm, protected and loved.

I think part of the problem is that there are fewer sex symbols in the media who are short, I couldn’t actually think of any and had to ask a friend, tall men are everywhere even our comedians tend to be tall, Vince Vaughan, Adam Sandler and Will Smith there are so many tall male sexy and funny men it is not surprising we women are looking for tall men.

The other issue and oh please women do not throw stones at me for this next comment....

Women are now fatter than we have ever been, the average woman in the UK is now a size 16, being bigger we naturally feel slimmer when partnered with a nice strong tall man, sad but true.

The media perception and obesity in the UK are problems bigger than us mere mortals but perception and acknowledging this is a problem this we can do. If you are a single woman and you are looking to join a dating agency or introduction agency why not take a leap of faith , be less shallow and maybe raise your expectation by say 3 inches?

Size matters? Of course it bloody does, it could be the difference between finding an amazing attractive, loving partner or continuously looking for that small percentage of man you deem to measure up.

Before I am slated for attacking women, I would like to ask how offended would you be if I told you 90%of my men are looking for slim women.
